The simple pleasures in life are all around us and for me that especially means photographing wildflowers. Available in the Iowa Wildflowers Gallery are samples of these. Their simple beauty is captured in an instant, for everyone's pleasure. Wildflower photography has become my passion and this website is my desire to share these images with my family, friends, neighbors and the world. I hope these images will remind you of a spring walk in the woods, a summer hike in the mountains, or a fall visit to a prairie.

The remaining Galleries contain an assortment of my other images. Photographs that have won various contests or that have been published are in the Awards Gallery. The Recent Work Gallery will be changed frequently. Over the past several years I noticed that I was taking more images of animals, butterflies and birds as seen in the Fauna Gallery. In 2002 I went 100% digital and started to take my Canon D60 to various festivals.  Recently I moved to a Canon 5D full frame DSLR.  You can view them in the Cityscapes Gallery. Be sure to look in the Miscellaneous Gallery for some of my favorite images.
