Finally

They say stress kills. I believe it. Shortly before my last post, my mom fell and broke her hip. Between her surgery, three days in the hospital, moving her to a skilled nursing facility, and just last week, moving her to a senior assisted living center, my stress level is about as high as I can ever remember. Starting this past weekend, I was finally able to grab my cameras and found some time for myself. I am not sure if it is being outside in nature or just the quietness that I need. But I needed it.

Below are an assortment of images I took in the past few days. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.

Wild turkeys preening, something I have never seen before.

A family of deer, crossing a creek. Interesting, the fawns did not stop and drink, but mom did.
